Hello, my name is Janita. For some time now, I am also known as “Teacher Janita”. Until I met Frank, the founder of the Brida Community.
I became his “partner in crime” and a “fruitloop”. The exact words were “Be a fruitloop in a world full of cheerios.” And that is how our partnership began.
Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, I am an experienced facilitator and teacher of English as a second language, but I am always open to learn more, improve my knowledge and adjust my way of teaching, to help you.
I have taught children from the young age of four years old to adults, my oldest student being seventy-two years old. Business professionals, doctors, University professors and everyday housewives have all been through my sessions and improved tremendously.
Before I started teaching, worked in different professions and dealt with multicultural environments where English was the main form of communication. My desire to help people, has driven me to the path of teaching and I have never looked back.
Keeping the Brida Philosophy in mind, I want to help you in improving your English through having interesting and meaningful conversations with people across the globe with the ability to interact with confidence.
